You can download all the Tones from the Public Custom Tone Exchange, sorted by product, in this zip file. Once downloaded, unzip the file, navigate to the location of the unzipped file using the left list of Line 6 Edit's Tone Locker window, and you'll be able to open any of the Tones. This file is updated daily, for the tone junkie who just can never get enough..

For those who have used the TTWCrawler utility that a user made for getting all Tones from the Custom Tone library, please in the future use the new item we've added at the end of the FAQ at Custom Tone. From there, you can grab a zip file, updated daily, on the library contents. This puts less load on our servers than TTWCrawler, so please use it rather than TTWCrawler in the future.

Hippietim made a program to bulkload patches from the Custom Tone site.

The Tone Transfer Crawler let's you get all the product specific patches that are in the Custom Tone website. This lets you get only the productpatches that you want. So if you just want POD xt patches, put in the correct url and let it do it's work. (It takes some time to get all the patches, but it saves you a lot of time). When you have another Line 6 product you put in another url and let it so it's work again.

In the source URL you put in the url from the custom tone website, by clicking on the picture of the product you want.

To use the program you simply go to http://customtone.com, pick a product (PODxt, Vetta II, etc.), and then copy and paste the URL into the "Source Url" box in the downloader. When you move over/select a different product, see that your url changes. Copy and paste this url into Tone Transfer Crawlers "source url"

You can supply additional filters and selections. Basically any option you can select on their web page will work. For example, if you want patches compatible with the Vetta II that contain "Variax", the URL ends up being:

http://customtone.com/library.html?rpp=50&product_id=10&restrict=compatible&type=user&search=variax&text=&searched=yes

This was just copied from the browser's address bar. I have not tried the program with dial-up, it should work. I just don't have a way to test it.

NOTE: I wrote this program on Windows XP. I have not tried it on Windows 2000 but in theory it should work just fine. It will definitely not work on Windows 95/98/Me so don't bother trying. Use at your own risk - no guarantees - etc. Let me know if you have any problems and I will do my best to resolve them.
